Lash Lift and Lash Tint Class
Performing a lash lift, lash tint, and eyelash extension has become very popular in the U.S. within the past few years. However, some licensed skin care professionals are realizing that lash lifts and lash tints are becoming more popular than lash extensions.
One reason for this popularity is the cost of the procedure and the health benefit of the lashes. Adding lash lifts and tints to a spa menu of services provides a cost-effective procedure for your clientele. It also gives them a healthier alternative.
Julie Cloutier, the educator provides students with an in-depth theory that involves reviewing product ingredients. Ingredient theory is an important part when learning the lash lift and tint application.
The Lash Lift procedure involves using a chemical solution that is applied to the lashes for an allotted period of time depending on the manufacturer. Each product has a different lift and set times. This process is to lift/curl the lashes temporarily (4 to 6 weeks) and usually, but not always paired with a tinting treatment which takes approx. 10 minutes to set. This treatment will leave the eyes looking vibrant without the feeling of clumpiness or heavy feeling to the lashes.
Julie reviews aftercare, which is extremely important to keep the lash lift and color of the tint.
Class starts at 9:30 AM CST, however, class starts at 10 AM.
Julie starts with a 30-minute written presentation. Students will view a live demonstration of the step-by-step lash lift and tint application. Students’ first models will start at 11 AM CST. This is where each student will perform the complete application.
Each class is limited to four students.
